Our wedding marquees offer a timeless canvas for your event - one completely customised to reflect your special story & dream aesthetic.

Our job is to help you plan the layout for your space (so that your event flows seamlessly), set everything up for you, and pack it down again afterwards.
Your job is to enjoy being the star of the show…although your marquee will probably come a close second!

Black Clear Marquee
Bold, contemporary & elegant - our premium Black Clear Marquee is designed to make a statement.
A striking black border offers a beautiful backdrop for lighting, florals and other styling accents while clear sides (easily opened or closed) allow you & your guests to fully immerse yourselves in the natural beauty of your surroundings.

Every marquee is custom built for your event, ranging from our smallest option (10x5m for 20 guests) and increasing in 5m bays to our largest option (10x100m for 1000 guests).

TY Side walls open very easily (the same as curtains) so you are able to open and close these throughout the day and evening. To allow breeze through, to block wind from a certain direction or to close for warmth as the sun goes.
Heating can be included, and we do have a marquee specific heater which can be on while guests are inside with all fumes staying outside the marquee.
We do have shade covers available on request. These can be added to your booking at the TY team will install these at set-up. They are designed to keep your marquee cool, however as guests don't usually enter the marquee until 5.30pm/6pm these are often removed before guests enter your marquee.
If you are after a solid option for your marquee roof, we do have white or black solid roof options available. You can mix and match these with the clear roofs.

Hire cost (gst exclusive) ranges from $2,400 - $5,200. Delivery/installation/packdown costs are based on marquee size and location.

Perfect for small soirées and grand affairs alike, our white frame option is completely clear (again, with sides that can easily be opened or closed, depending on the weather) and promises to put on a show from the moment your guests arrive until the party stops.

We’d love to make some magic with you!
Here’s what you can expect when booking a marquee for your wedding (corporate & private events are similar, but often with a more condensed timeline).

Choose your fav items (via the lookbook or online wishlist) then make an enquiry. We’ll send you an initial quote (valid for 7 days) and chat through any questions you may have. You also have the option of jumping on a Zoom call with us!

Keen to book? Fantastic! Secure your order with a 25% non-refundable deposit and approval of our T&Cs. Now you’re officially part of the TY family you'll also get a special URL to access all the important info about our systems, processes, and products.

You’ll fill out a welcome form which tells us ALL the ins and outs of your booking. We’ll then be in touch 2 months out from your date to collaborate on floor plans, cross check details, and lock in logistics. A month out from the big day, you’ll receive your final invoice.

We’re the first to arrive & last to leave - we set our alarm clocks for a ridiculously early hour, down a few espressos, then arrive on-site to set everything up. And you? You go and have a pre-celebration glass of bubbles with your friends and family!

YAY - the day is finally here! You arrive (looking gorgeous, might we add) and proceed to have the best. day. ever. If Lucy is on styling & planning duties, she’ll be there to meet you. Otherwise we’re only a phone call away.

At the agreed time, our team will swoop in and dismantle everything, leaving the site looking perfect (as if nothing has happened). Then we eagerly wait by our phones for your feedback & photos… we can’t wait to hear all about your day!
“We hired the Black Clear Marquee for our Queenstown wedding and oh my goodness it was absolute perfection!! It was exactly as I had pictured and made for the most beautiful setting, with lots of guests commenting on how amazing it looked. Being able to see out of the clear roof up to The Remarkables was the most incredible backdrop for our reception. It was a freezing spring evening with a sprinkle of rain but inside the marquee, with just a few heaters everyone was toasty and dry (even in summer dresses!). Once you’ve given us the required info to get started (guest numbers, style of event etc.) we’ll send you a quote with a range of floor plan options. We can then work together to create your floorplan and work out which size marquee is right for you. The best thing about our marquees - besides their obvious good looks, of course - is that they’re completely customisable.

We’re asked this question all the time - so let us assure you, there are many ways to ensure your marquee is a comfortable temperature.
Firstly, the sides (unlike a lot of marquee styles) are incredibly easy to open and shut to allow air flow, shut out wind, or to warm the space. You simply use them like curtains!
If it’s cold, the ducted heaters keep everyone warm and snug.
If it’s looking like a beautiful summer's day, we have shade covers we can put on to keep the vendors inside cool while they’re setting up during the day (just ask someone to remove them prior to your guests entering).
And remember: you don’t normally enter the marquee until at least 5pm, so by that time the day is cooling down to a magic balmy night. How dreamy being able to have all of the sides open as you dance away under the stars!

Vehicle access is a must to ensure we can set up/pack down efficiently. If this is going to be an issue, please get in touch so we can chat through some options. We also check underground services and how level the ground is (we don’t need it perfect - if you can play a game of cricket, it will be fine).

In a past life, we were both professional athletes. Today our athletic pursuits involve scaling marquees, loading trucks, managing runsheets & chasing our beautiful little girl around.
Our work is intense and precise, but we love the challenge of making it look easy.
